Here's the information we have so far from May 29.

I'll aim to update this on Friday evening with reports we get during the day on Friday May 30.

From about Hwy 55 maybe and south now, on some farms, harvest would be underway or close if fields were firm enough to get on with equipment and the weather offered a suitable opportunity. It's not all ready for harvest yet. Things are different as you move north. Farms will consider their own feed needs and conditions. MAKE SAFTEY THE PRIORITY.

As often is the case with first crop alfalfa, farmers will be called on to make the best of cards that get dealt with the weather, and we hope we all appreciate their efforts as we shop in our grocery stores.
