Some signs of very small alfalfa weevil larva have been seen in fields. This will be a pest to keep an eye on through second crop harvest, along with potato leafhoppers and plant bugs. Spraying before a threshold is reached raises the odds that you’ll need to spray again; and it doesn’t play well with agriculture’s heritage as good stewards of the land. Thanks for the care you give to land and water.
