1. May 19 2016 Summary - All loads sold, grouped and averaged based on bale and hay or bedding type.

2. History of Selected Lots - averages for recent years, and each sale so far this year, Medium Square Alfalfa by 25 RFV groups, Grass Hay 5-9% Protein, Straw

3. Graph - Medium Square Groups from RFV 101-200. The Red Line is for the 2015-16 market Oct 1 through May 19.
Summer Auction for Sauk Centre Mid-American Hay Auctions will be June 2, July 7, August 4, as noted at their website. The Steffes Auction in Litchfield will be held once each month in June, July, and August starting with Tuesday June 14, based on their website listing. There are other markets around as well.

Recent information posted about crop issues related to heavy rain in some areas, potential nitrogen loss, evaluating stand, replant issues, hail, watching fusarium head blight in wheat, potential for black cutworm issues – primarily in corn, watching alfalfa regrowth after harvest for indications of alfalfa weevil larval feeding.
