Final Winter oilseeds virtual field day online Tuesday

Winter camelina (Camelina sativa) and pennycress (Thlaspi arvense) are new winter-hardy annual oilseeds with great potential for use as cash cover crops that will keep the land in continuous living cover while providing economic benefits to farmers in the Upper Midwest.

Three Winter Annual Virtual Field Days have been hosted by the UMN Forever Green oilseed team.  For anyone who has not been able to sit-in on the first two sessions, recordings have been posted to the UMN Forever Green YouTube channel. Please subscribe, view and share: https://z.umn.edu/forevergreen_youtube

The third and final session will be hosted tomorrow. Please click (https://z.umn.edu/oilseed_day3) to watch a short overview by Dr. Samantha Wells that ties together all of the sessions and gives a sneak preview on tomorrow's session. We hope you can join us!
