Join this week's Field Notes discussion on crop commodity prices and planting progress in Minnesota

Join us this week on Field Notes when we welcome Ed Usset, Grain marketing economist, Center for Farm Financial Management at the University of Minnesota, and Extension agronomy specialists to talk about the implications of the current commodity crop prices on agronomy inputs and future crop rotations for Minnesota farmers.

This week's guests

In addition to Ed Usset, a panel of University of Minnesota Extension agronomists will be featured, including Seth Naeve, Extension soybean agronomist; Jeff Coulter, Extension corn agronomist; and Jochum Wiersma, Extension small grains specialist. They will comment on the current crop planting progress and establishment along with implications of the the current commodity market changes in Minnesota.

What is Field Notes?

The Field Notes program is designed for farmers and agricultural professionals as a weekly webinar program addressing all your crop-related questions in a real-time, interactive, discussion-based format.

Field Notes will run Wednesday mornings from 7:30-8:00 a.m. throughout the growing season. It features a live webinar with interactive discussions to address in-season cropping issues as they arise. Topics may include nutrient management, agronomics, pest management, equipment, and more.
