Alfalfa Harvest Alert: June 1st

Alfalfa harvest is now complete for all fields in the Alfalfa Harvest Alert Program for 2021. This means that this will be the last update for the season. Again continue to monitor stands for potential pest problems throughout the season. You can also go to z.umn.edu/AlfalfaHarvestAlert to review the season and help make adjustments and notes from this season. All of the sample data from 2021 can be found at any time by using that tool.

Alfalfa Harvest Report for June 1st:

The goal of this program is to encourage growers to be strategic with alfalfa hay crop harvest. Farmers should make decisions based on their specific feed and market needs and field observations.
