New videos bring pesticide applicator skills to life

The University of Minnesota Extension’s Pesticide Safety and Environmental Education (PSEE) program has developed three new training videos designed to demonstrate important skills for pesticide applicators. The videos focus on demonstrating core skills essential for both new and experienced pesticide applicators to use pesticides safely and effectively.

These short, skill-based videos provide practical, real-world demonstrations that go beyond traditional text-based materials. By improving accessibility and reinforcing best management practices, the series supports safer pesticide use and more effective training across Minnesota and beyond. They were developed through support from an Extension Foundation Pesticide Safety Education Funds Management Program (PSEFMP) grant.
