Gopher Coffee Shop podcast: Processing crops in Minnesota


In this installment of the Gopher Coffee Shop podcast, Extension educators Ryan Miller and Brad Carlson visit with Charlie Rohwer, Research Scientist in Horticulture at the Southern Research and Outreach Center. We discuss processing crops in Minnesota and some of the other horticulture projects Charlie is working on at the Southern Research and Outreach Center. The horticulture research projects include: a processing pea variety trial, nitrogen management in sweet corn, bacterial leaf streak in sweet corn, a NCIS hail loss project, hop breeding, carrot production, broccoli, and hot peppers.
