Join Strategic Farming: Field Notes on July 27 to discuss summer insect issues

Join us for Strategic Farming: Field Notes on Wednesday July 27 at 8am when we welcome Dr. Robert Koch, U of MN Soybean Extension Entomologist, and Bruce Potter, U of M Extension IPM Specialist, for an update on insects to keep an eye on in 2022 as we move into August.

Key pests that will be covered include soybean aphid, soybean gall midge, spider mites, and corn rootworm. Koch and Potter will also discuss foliar insecticide options that remain considering chlorpyrifos is no longer available for use and soybean aphid resistance to pyrethroids.
